Storage of bearings

Ventilation and temperature control equipment should be installed in the warehouse. The warehouse should be kept dry, with a relative temperature controlled below 80%. The indoor temperature should be controlled at around 25 degrees Celsius, and there should be no significant temperature changes day and night. When the temperature is too low, the rust inhibitor is prone to crystallization and cracking, resulting in partial metal exposure and rusting. When the temperature is too high, the rust inhibitor is prone to loss (evaporation) or deterioration. The large temperature difference between day and night can easily cause moisture to condense on the bearing surface and cause rusting. During winter, the storage location of bearings should not be near the heating system. The floor inside the warehouse should be hard and not easily dusty. Bearings shall not be stored in the same warehouse as corrosive materials such as acids, alkalis, salts, chemical raw materials, or materials with high moisture content. The warehouse where bearings are stored is not easily affected by harmful gases.
Transportation of bushings
Improper transportation can cause damage to bearings in the most vulnerable areas, such as micro motion wear, corrosion, collision damage, indentation, etc. Even rough handling can lead to bearing cracking and direct failure. Therefore, special attention should be paid to the transportation quality during the transportation process to avoid unnecessary damage to the axle lining. When placing bearings on transportation vehicles, they should be placed horizontally and pressure should not be applied to the outer diameter direction of the bearings to prevent deformation of the shaft lining. When stacking on transportation vehicles, the distance between boxes should be as close as possible to reduce the impact and vibration of bearings caused by shaking during transportation.

During the process, the bearing should be avoided from carrying dirt and rotating, otherwise it is easy to damage the rolling surface of the bearing. After rough cleaning, the bearing can enter the fine cleaning process, which involves rotating the bearing in the cleaning oil used for fine cleaning and carefully removing any remaining dirt.
